In 2003, one of Motion's Fortune 500 customers requested additional inventory services which they could not provide.

Motion chose Maran Solutions because of our extensive knowledge of application integration and data manipulation.  Motion wanted us to completely manage the project, while they would remain the "face" to the end-customer.

Quality was paramount because a failure in this project could jeopardize $16 million in gross annual sales to this one customer.

The Results?

The project was completed on-time and on-budget.  The customer was very pleased with the end result, which enabled them to perform better preventative maintenance throughout their entire organization and consolidate their purchasing efforts to realize greater buying leverage with key suppliers. 

After this project, Motion began marketing these capabilities to their entire customer base as a value-added service.  They continue to outsource the projects to Maran.
